Hispanic man burns down a house in Texas with his three children inside

Authorities reported that A man of Hispanic origin from Texas is accused of intentionally setting fire to his house with his three children inside.

Pedro Luis Parra Pulgar, 46, is charged with three counts of attempted murder. His bail was set at $2.25 million.

The fire was reported Nov. 6 at 31619 Eldorado Lane in the Polo Ranch community of Fulshear, Texas, police said.

Suspect suffered serious injuries in fire and was hospitalized for a long time before being discharged on Thursday. Then He was booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.

The home suffered significant damage due to the fire and emergency services quickly arrived at the scene, police said.

Two children managed to escape from the house with minor injuries, but a third child, aged three, was trapped inside.

Officers heard faint noises inside the home and entered through a bedroom window and rescued the child.

The boy, who was suffering from severe smoke inhalation, was airlifted to a nearby hospital and has since been released.
