Daddy Yankee sued his wife for unauthorized money withdrawals

In the middle of his divorce, Daddy Yankee sued his still Mireddys González for making unauthorized money withdrawals. The reggaeton singer confirmed last week that he was in the process of separating from his wife of almost 30 years.

According to Efe, Daddy Yankee filed a lawsuit this week before the Court of First Instance of San Juan against his ex-partner and his sister for alleged embezzlement of 100 million dollars.

Apparently, Mireddys González and her sister Ayeicha González would have withdrawn 100 million dollars from the bank accounts of the “Gasolina” singer’s company. without his permission, according to a statement issued by the artist’s representative.

“In view of his previous actions, the unprudent administrative and economic management of the entities and, specifically, the withdrawals of large unauthorized sums of money, which affect the stability of the entities and the rights of Mr. Ayala”We have had to go to court in search of protection,” said Daddy Yankee’s lawyer.

According to the reggaeton singer’s legal team, A year and a half ago, the company, managed by Mireddys González, had requested access to the bank accounts., to know the status of financesbut their requests were ignored.

“For approximately a year and a half, in good faith, Mr. Ayala had been requesting the González women access to their companies and their financial status. However, your request was ignored”, assures the Puerto Rican lawyer.

Through a statement published on his Instagram account, Daddy Yankee announced on December 2 that his marriage to Mireddys González had come to an end.

“After more than two decades of marriage and After many months of trying to save my marriage, which my wife and I share, today my lawyers respond to the divorce petition received from Mireddys“wrote the reggaeton player.

“My faith in Christ has been my refuge at all times, and was a constant guide as we tried to overcome our differences,” he added.

The confirmation of the divorce between Daddy Yankee and Mireddys González comes a couple of months after rumors of separation on social networks. In October, a wave of rumors emerged claiming that the then couple had ended their relationship.
