Three attractions from the magical world of disney will be temporarily closed for renovations, and although it will be for a few days, the decision occurs at the beginning of the Christmas season in the theme parks of Anaheim, California.
It is about Storybook Land Canal Boats, Casey Jr. Circus Train and the night show Fantasmicwhich will be included in the standard renovation program at Disneyland and Disneyland California Adventure.
Other attractions were already closed to undergo renovations to their structure and mechanism: Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pixie Hollow and Great Moments with Mr. Lincolnwhich were already closed for renovations.
The good news is that the renovations will be for less than a week and in early December, so visitors and tourists can enjoy them very soon.
Closing dates for renovations at Disney attractions
- Storybook Land Canal Boats: December 2 to 5
- Casey Jr. Circus Train: December 2 to 6
- Fantasmic: December 2 to 5, December 9 to 12, December 16 to 19 and December 31. Christmas week will be active.
For its part, Ariel’s Undersea Adventure will reopen on Saturday, November 30after undergoing renovations for a month. In addition, Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland It reopens on December 13 after renovations that also lasted a month.
By contrast, the Pixie Hollow area of Fantasyland, where visitors “shrink” to visit Tinker Bell, won’t return until January 2025. It’s been closed since September. The same goes for Great Moments with Mr. Lincolnwhich doesn’t return until early January.
Finally, the Hyperion Theater in Hollywood Land, the Theater Fantasyland of Disneyland and the Magic Eye Theaterin Tomorrowland, remain closed and no upcoming shows are expected to be in the works.
The Fantasyland Theater has been special lately, allowing visitors to meet characters, decorate cookies, make crafts, and tell Christmas stories.
