The frustration of the fans of the Toluca They were on the verge of causing a high-magnitude violent event when they threw a nail clipper from the stands against the humanity of goalkeeper Luis Malagón of America which became one of the factors in the elimination of the Red Devils.

When just the first minutes were played of the second leg of the quarterfinals between Toluca vs. America, where the current two-time Mexican soccer champion, the referee responded to the call of the American goalkeeper himself who showed him and handed over that sharp object that was thrown with the worst intentions to harm the goalkeeper’s humanity.

Fortunately, the projectile did not achieve its mission of impacting the humanity of the Águilas goalkeeper, But it did put the security system of the Nemesio Diez stadium on alert, since referee César Ramos called the Liga MX commissioner to hand him the object and demand that he ask the Toluca fans for greater composure through the local sound.

Perhaps this event is exaggerated, but the reality is that if it had hit Malagón’s body it would have caused a significant injury that would have stained the development of the match in which America ended up overcoming in all fairness to the “Red Devils” with a score of 2-0 (gobal 4-0).

We will have to wait if the Disciplinary Commission does not impose a sanction on Toluca for this attempted attack and within the investigation the person responsible for throwing the object is found to hold him criminally responsible, as well as once again prohibiting him from entering the Nemesio Diez stadium through the closed circuit of the stadium itself.

The truth is that the sanction that Toluca could receive is a financial fine, a veto notice or even the suspension of the State of Mexico property. For now, Marcel Ruiz’s own goal and Henry Martín’s score ended up burying the Devil’s hopes.s and the generation of violence by its fans.
