The death of Silvia Pinal shook the entertainment world and, especially, her close circle. In a meeting with Mexican media, Efigenia Ramos, the film diva’s assistant, revealed some details about the actress’ death.
Ramos indicated that Pinal died at 5:30 in the afternoon, Mexico time, and that he did not feel like saying goodbye, since he wanted to continue living.
“My boss really wanted to live… she died at exactly 5:30 in the afternoon.””, he stated. The star’s assistant seemed affected and sensitive about the star’s death, reiterating that they had a close relationship.
“I am in great pain because we were colleagues, she was my boss for many years, 35, really as a boss… A great boss.”
Details of Silvia Pinal’s funeral
Ramos too offered details about what will be the last goodbye of the last diva of Mexican cinema. She said that she will be dressed in white at the wish of her children and that they will pay her a heartfelt tribute at the Palace of Fine Arts in Mexico.
“We brought him white clothes because his children wanted that,” said. Later, he indicated that the posthumous tribute will be held. “Here it will be with friends (the wake) and in Fine Arts for the people.”
Silvia Pinal’s body was transferred from the Médica Sur hospital to the J. García López del Pedregal funeral home. At the scene, some media and close people gathered.
“His lung collapsed.”
After experiencing complications with a urinary tract infection, the actress died on November 28, surrounded by her family. Hours before, his son, Luis Enrique Guzmán, had confirmed the seriousness of the situation.
“Yes, my mother is delicate, and her lung did collapse, but now she is very calm with sedation, we are waiting to see what happens,” he admitted. “We are just receiving a message from Luis Enrique Guzmán that speaks precisely about what is happening to him,” Martha Figueroa mentioned this in ‘Ventaneando’ before reading Guzmán’s statements.
The first of her children to speak out was Sylvia Pasquel, the actress also expressed that the pain would hurt her all her life and that her mother would always be in her heart.
