Franco Colapinto will run in Qatar with a helmet that will honor the soccer team that won the World Cup

Almost two years ago the Argentina national team obtained in Qatar his third World Cup and this year a high-performance athlete returns to the same country who wishes to pay a heartfelt tribute to the team captained by Lionel Messi.

Franco Colapintothe young Williams driver from the Formula 1was the one who raised his hand to honor his compatriots and will do so with a special helmet that he already showed off on his social networks.

In the purest style of Czech Perez When racing in Mexico City, the Argentine pilot modified some elements in the design of his helmet. “I couldn’t race in Qatar without bringing them something special. I hope you like it and it represents you. Let’s have a good weekend,” Colapinto wrote on his Instagram account to accompany the video in which he presents it.

In the clip you can see the flag of your country on the sides and, on the reverse, the three stars that represent the three world championships won, in addition to the phrase “Crowned with glory” below them and below it also appears an illustration of the players who lifted the cup, with Lionel Messi in front of them kissing her.

“For an Argentine to compete again in Qatar is an honor and a responsibility. This helmet is a tribute to the world champions who gave us the greatest joy possible and a gift to all Argentine fans. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, for accompanying me on this path,” Colapinto narrates in the video where an electric guitar playing the Argentine anthem plays in the background.

The Qatar GP will be held on Sunday, December 1 at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT at the Losail International Circuit, in the city of Lusail, 28 kilometers north of the capital Doha. It will be the penultimate race of the Formula 1 season, a week before closing in Abu Dhabi.
