Christmas at Legoland

The Legoland theme park (One Legoland Dr., Carlsbad) kicked off its Christmas celebration with lots of decorations, lights and artificial snow. This year the park presents the new Elf Training Academy, in which the “elfies” will learn dance steps at the Holly Hype Dance Party from the new Lego characters, Ivy and Frode. On December 6, the Lego Christmas Tree will be lit, made with more than 360 thousand Lego and duplo bricks. There will be fireworks on select days. Ends January 5. Tickets from $79. Silent Cinema at Sierra Madre Playhouse
