Marilyn Manson drops lawsuit against Evan Rachel Wood

The singer Marilyn Manson has withdrawn the defamation lawsuit that he filed in 2022 against his ex-partner, the actress Evan Rachel Woodand now must pay him $327,000 to pay his lawyers.

Three years ago Wood publicly accused Manson (whose real name is Brian Warner) of having committed abuse against her throughout their relationship (from 2006 to 2010). After He sued her, pointing out that she was responsible for a “conspiracy” to expose him as a rapist.

Evan’s lawyer, Michael J. Kumpannounced in a statement that Manson’s attempt “to silence and intimidate Ms. Wood failed. As the trial court correctly concluded, Warner’s claims were without merit.”

Now both artists have reached an agreement, and Marilyn’s legal representative commented that he wants to leave all this behind: “After four years of being in a battle in which he was willing to tell the truth, “Brian is pleased to dismiss his still-pending claims and appeal to close the door on this chapter of his life.”

Along with Wood, Several women were those who reported abuse by Marilyn Manson, but he always denied it, arguing that all the relationships he had were consensual. A few days ago the singer turned to his account instagram (in which he has more than six million followers) to publish the poster of the music festival “Welcome To Rockville”in which it will be presented on May 18, 2025.
