John Morgan, who during the race for the presidency became one of the figures who contributed the most money to the Democratic Party, rules out Kamala Harris as a future option on the ballot because of the way he points squandered nearly $1.5 billion dollars to end up losing and presumably even with red numbers in their finances.
During his speech on the “CUOMO” podcast, which is produced by the news network NewsNationthe millionaire lawyer based in Orlando, Florida, maintained that those who invested money in the Harris-Walz campaign really did so with the objective of preventing Donald Trump’s return to the White House and not in support of the Democratic Party.
In factMorgan points out that there is discomfort among the acting vice president’s donors at seeing the disproportionate spending incurred by her teamwhich showed that she is not prepared to govern.
“I think that This disqualifies her forever. If you can’t campaign, you can’t govern America.
The same thing will happen to Harris for the rest of his career. You can’t trust him with money and the donors are going to say: ‘Where is that money?’” he emphasized.
During the four months in which the 60-year-old African American remained in the campaign, she received a sum of money never before seen in American politics and without it being officially known how she spent it, news was leaked of an alleged negative balance at the close of his campaign equivalent to nearly $20 million dollars.
However, Patrick Stauffer, financial director of the Harris campaign, issued a statement in which he assured that “there were no outstanding debts or overdue invoices.”” on election day and that “there will be no debts” by officially ending the entire campaign process once the accounts are rendered.
In this way, it will not be until next month when, after the acting vice president’s team of advisors delivers a detailed report on its operations to the Federal Electoral Commission, when it is known how it closed its financial year.
