John Kevin Stitt, governor of Oklahoma, announced that he will help with what President-elect Donald Trump requests of him to carry out mass deportations of immigrants.

During an interview with the news network Fox News, The Florida-born politician announced that he has already issued instructions to his public safety commissioner to begin the deportation program with immigrants who are part of the prison population in Oklahoma.where nearly 500 inmates would top the repatriation list.

“We want to be prepared from day one in office, when President Trump takes office. I put our public safety commissioner in charge and said, ‘Listen, all of you who are in our jails, who are here illegally, who are violating our laws, we believe in public safety’.

We want to protect the citizens of Oklahoma and we want to be prepared to remove them from our state and our country before another problem occurs,” he said.

The state leader stressed that, even though the challenge is huge, they will begin working as soon as possible to accomplish a job neglected during the years of the administration headed by Democrat Joe Biden.

“The first thing we are going to focus on is the people who have committed crimes. I think that’s what President Trump is going to do. And then once the border is secured, something that Biden has failed to do for the last four years, and that’s why the American people overwhelmingly supported President Trump because they know that he will secure the border from day one,” he emphasized.

Stitt sees that the deportation of immigrants will benefit Americans because there will be more job opportunities.

“Then you can analyze immigration policy and state work visas. Because if there are people who are trying to do the right thing, pursuing the American dream, I think we should unite employers with employees and drop educational visas so that students who are pursuing an engineering degree at one of our universities “They can enter the workforce, but we are going to start with illegal activity,” said the 51-year-old accountant.
