The life of Carmen Salinas will be told in a series, the news was given by the actress’s daughter, María Eugenia Plascencia, in a recent interview for ‘Ventaneando’. Salinas died on December 9, 2021 at the age of 82.
In his announcement, he also announced who will play his mother and it will be Adriana Barraza.
María Eugenia expressed that she feels very happy that Barraza has been chosen to embody the figure of Carmen Salinas.
“I am very happy that Adriana Barraza is going to play the character of my mother.”
Although the project is still in the development phase, more details are expected to be revealed in the coming months, with a possible release date for next year.
Additionally, the series will feature the participation of Marisol, daughter of María Eugenia, who will play Salinas in her youth.

This biographical project will not only explore the life of the actress and businesswoman, but also unknown aspects of her personality and her career within and offstage, which will allow the public to learn unpublished details of his life.
Puerto Rican producer Antonio Morales, along with Manuel Monge, grandson of Carmen Salinas, andThey are in charge of collecting key information for the realization of the series. Some details about Adriana Barraza
Adriana Barraza is one of the best-known actresses in Mexico. He began his studies at the Faculty of Chemical Sciences, but soon he leaned towards actingtraining that consolidated in the Department of Fine Arts in Chihuahua.
