A fire that broke out at an AutoZone auto parts store This Saturday night caused severe damage to a couple of neighboring businesses, in the Hollywood area.
He Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) reported that shortly before 4:30 p.m., firefighters were working to assess heavy smoke emanating from the auto parts specialty store in a one-story shopping center at 1306 North Highland Avenue, north of Fountain. Ave.
Due to the firefighters’ fight against the intense fire, around 5:00 pm the LAFD updated the situation and indicated the closure of Highland Avenue, between De Longpre Avenue and Lexinton Avenueit was reported in a statement.

Around 124 firefighters worked at the scene. They were working to put out the flames, which began to damage the structure of the auto parts store, which is one of three businesses that were in the shopping center, said LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey.
After work that lasted more than two hours, the fire was completely put out, but the two neighboring businesses, a Fat Sal’s Deli and a Sushi Ajitosuffered serious damage to their facilities.
