The roads of Mexico are dangerous places for those who travel them, organized crime dominates some of them, disappearing those who in some way hinder them, but in others it operates in a different way, robbing transporters. The security camera of a trailer captured the moment when two armed individuals kidnapped the unit with everything and driver.

It happened in broad daylight on the Mexico-Puebla highway, near Río Frío, in the municipality of Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico. In the recording, the trailer is seen circulating on the road when a compact car closes in on it and stops a few meters in front of it.

Gun in hand, two subjects get out of the vehicle, while the driver exclaims: “that’s enough, I’ll fuck#$%.” In a matter of seconds the criminals reach the cabin of the vehicle, missing the focal point of the video surveillance camera, but they are heard saying: “Get off quickly, go to the car over there.”.

The criminals appear again in the recording when one of them takes the driver by the arm and puts him into the back of the vehicle with which they blocked his path. While the trailer is heard resuming its march, this time driven by one of the thieves.

Lost driver

The face of the thief who took the trailer was captured by the unit’s security camera, which is why the image has been spread on social networks. Nothing has been said about what the seized trailer was carrying, but it is known that those carrying valuable items are stolen and then sold on the illegal market.

Nothing is known about the driver or trailer.the man has been missing since the day the events occurred, last November 12.

The kidnapping was reported to the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Mexico, which opened an investigation file for the crimes of kidnapping and robbery with violence. Authorities from the National Guard and the Secretariat of Citizen Security of the State of Mexico also joined the search for the driver and the efforts to identify the criminals.

According to Mexican media such as El Universal, the Mexico-Puebla highway is one of the highways with the most reports of theft of cargo transport units.
