Real Madrid defeated Osasuna 4-0 in a bittersweet match after ending up with two serious injuries. In the first half they lost Rodrygo due to a muscle injury and then Éder Militao due to a knee injury.
Rodrygo could not make it past the first 20 minutes and asked for a change after discomfort in his right leg. The player left on his own, but sat down with his hands over his eyes because he could not continue playing.
The Brazilian was just returning from a discomfort in his left leg. The most likely thing is that he will miss the Qualifiers with the Brazilian team.
For his part, Éder Militao had to leave on a stretcher. The Brazilian defender got stuck in the grass and grabbed his right knee with agonizing screams of pain that silenced the Santiago Bernabéu.
Militao could probably miss the entire season. Last year he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left leg.
Lucas Vázquez joined the injuries with another muscle discomfort and had to be substituted at the beginning of the second half.
Real Madrid scores with an inspired Vinícius
Real Madrid was able to overcome the injuries for an Osasuna that was only a rival until 1-0. Jude Bellingham found Vinícius Jr. who with a dribble opened the scoring with a good right-footed finish.
Raúl Asencio, who came in for Militao and comes from Real Madrid Castilla, excelled with a great assist in his first game as a professional to Jude Bellingham to extend the score 2-0 at the end of the first half.
Vini Jr. sealed the 3-0 victory with a great pass from Lunin on the counterattack and then took off the goalkeeper.
The Brazilian consolidated his hat-trick with another steal in the Brahim Díaz area and assisted the number 7 to complete the difficult victory at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Kylian Mbappé had several opportunities, but could not be effective in front of goal. Madrid remains with 27 points in second place, six points behind Barcelona.
