At the Corona stadium, Santos Laguna and Chivas de Guadalajara faced each other for one of the last days of the Liga MX. The victory went to the Sacred Flock, but Ricardo Ferretti He was not very happy with the spectacle exhibited.

Although it was a game with chances and good intentions in attack, Ricardo Ferretti considers that from a football perspective it is one of the worst games he has seen.

“In terms of football, it was a mediocre game, the Chivas game was the worst game I have ever seen.”What Alejandro (Irarragorri) has done with the Santos team is a real shame, I think the statue of Jared Borgetti must be writhing,” said the former Brazilian coach.

In the game there was a lot of activity in each of the goals. Despite not having possession of the ball, Chivas de Guadalajara were much more pragmatic and managed to take the victory as a visitor.

Santos is in the penultimate position of the Liga MX with only 9 points added. With this defeat, the Lagunero team already adds 7 games without being able to take the 3 points in the local tournament.

Chivas continues to rise

Although the shapes are not so attractive, Arturo Ortega’s interim leadership of Chivas de Guadalajara has been very good. Three victories, a draw and a defeat have been the balance for the former Tapatío coach.

“Last game, I think today we made the difference, We go out to run, to fight, to propose, that’s what most of the timeand although it does not depend on us now, we are going to do our best in the next game against San Luis,” Ortega said after the game.

With this victory, Chivas rise to seventh position in Liga MX. However, the Sacred Flock must wait for the day to be completed to determine its real position within Apertura 2024.
