At Al-Hilal it is clear that they will have to wait a while to be able to have Neymar back after The Brazilian star suffered a new muscle injury this Monday in a match corresponding to the Asian Champions League.

The technical director of the Arab team, Jorge Jesús, assured after the match that his team won against the Iranian Esteghlal (3-0) thanks to a hat-trick by Aleksandar Mitrovic, that although it is still not clear how long he will be out of the field the ’10’ in the best scenario will be a couple of weeks.

“He suffers a muscle injury; I don’t know how long he won’t be able to train, but two weeks at least.”commented the Al-Hilal strategist about the situation of the Brazilian star who injured his right leg while running for a ball during the match this Monday.

The image of the Brazilian star Neymar with discomfort in his right leg set off alarms in Al-Hilal, which has not been able to count on its top star for a long time due to injury problems.

It must be remembered that Neymar had recently returned to the field after being absent for more than a year due to a serious injury to his left knee that he suffered in October 2023 in a match for the Brazil National Team in the South American qualifiers.

This Monday, Canarinha’s all-time top scorer played just 29 minutes after having entered the game as a substitute in the 58th minute and having to be substituted in the 87th minute as a result of this new injury that puts the Brazilian star on hold.

“It won’t be easy for him. From a medical point of view, his knee is healed, but then he will have muscle problems like today, because he has not played for a long time. And the team’s rhythm is strong”added the Al-Hilal coach.

In the little time on the court that Neymar had, the Brazilian star showed signs that his quality and magic remain intact despite the long time he was out due to injury.

“I hope it’s nothing more.”

The Brazilian star Neymar spoke about this new injury suffered on Monday with Al-Hilal and with a message on his social networks the player explained what happened and that it may be a kind of sequel product of the long injury that he recently overcame.

“It felt like a cramp, only very strong. “I’ll take some tests and I hope it’s nothing more.”he wrote in a story on his personal Instagram account where the Brazilian has more than 220 million followers.

“It is normal that after a year this happens, the doctors already warned me, that is why I have to be careful and have more minutes to play”added the player who was not recently included in the Brazilian National Team call for the November double date of the qualifiers.
