Cardi B responds to Elon Musk after being called Kamala Harris' “puppet”

Grammy-winning rapper Cardi B became the center of attention on X, the former Twitter, after Tesla CEO Elon Musk disqualified her by calling her a “puppet” of Kamala Harris’ campaign.

This comment came in the context of a rally in Milwaukee, where Cardi B had to face a teleprompter error while addressing the vice president’s supporters and presidential candidate. In the videos, the singer’s nervousness can be seen.

Musk calls the incident “shameful”

In his tweet, Musk referred to the incident as “shameful,” commenting: “Another puppet that can’t even speak without being given the words.”and added that “Kamala’s campaign has no authenticity or true empathy”.

These words provoked a quick reaction from the rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar.

Cardi B responded forcefully on her own X account, stating:

“I am not an Elon puppet… I am the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work very hard to support me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I’m a product of poverty, and I’m a product of what happens when the system turns against you… But you don’t know any of that. You know nothing about American wrestling… PS: fix my algorithm.”

During her speech at the rally, Cardi B gave a passionate speech about women’s rights, in which she criticized the sexism she has faced, especially in the context of politics.

“Like Kamala Harris, I too have been the underdog, I have been underestimated, my success has been belittled and discredited. Let me tell you something: Women have to work ten times harder, perform ten times better, and yet people question how we got to the top. “I can’t stand bullies, but like Kamala, I always stand up to them.”stated the rapper.

The exchange of words between Cardi B and Musk was commented on social networks. Some users mentioned that Musk He is a clear supporter of Donald Trump and agrees with her style of governing, while most artists support Harris for what she can offer the country from the point of health care, immigration, among others.
