A Hispanic man from Southern California was arrested on suspicion of drugging and sexually assaulting a woman he met on a dating app, so San Bernardino County authorities are looking for more potential victims.
Luis David García, 37, resident of Bloomingtonwas arrested this Tuesday, October 29, accused of raping a woman he met through the Tinder application, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the Fontana Sheriff’s Station responded to a rape report at approximately 3:00 a.m. on October 19.

Initial contact via dating app
According to the authorities, the victim stated that he had maintained communication with García through the application before finally meeting for the first time at the Hispanic’s home.
During the appointment, at some point the woman said she was drugged and when she woke up, García was sexually abusing her, according to authorities.
As best she could, the woman said she was able to leave García’s house and He immediately called 911 to request medical assistance..

After receiving the complaint, the bailiffs carried out a search warrant at a residence located in the 9700 block of Locust Avenuewhere investigators discovered evidence that there may be additional unreported victims.
They are looking for more victims of García
According to Corporal Adam Cervantes of the Fontana Sheriff’s Station, García was registered on several dating apps.
“We have reason to believe that he may have contacted other people, which is why we are trying to identify more victims publishing his photo,” said Cervantes.

According to some neighbors, García is a tenant of the house and, as reported, Just a few months after moving from Northern California.
Garcia was arrested on multiple charges, including rape by use of toxic substances, rape of an unconscious victim and other serious charges. The Hispanic man was admitted to the West Valley Detention Center.
Authorities did not release further details. about the exact evidence that was found in the Hispanic home.

In reference to this case, authorities warned the public to always be careful when you meet a person from a real life dating app.
It is recommended that if you are going to meet someone for the first time, it is best that be in a public place where there is good lighting and bring your own car.
It was also recommended to be very attentive to any drink that can be consumed during the meeting with a person you just met.
