The extensionist Roger Federer who recently ventured into acting, sharing credits with the famous South African comedian Trevor Noah, starred in a short film about tourism in Switzerland that has been proclaimed winner of the International Tourism Film Festival “ART & TUR”, celebrated in Portugal.

In the seventeenth edition of this festival held this weekend in Lousã, in the Central region of Portugal, the Swiss film titled “Grand Train Tour of Switzerland. The trip of his life” was the winner among the 303 productions from 43 countries selected by the jury.

In the piece, Federer stars on a train trip through Switzerland along with Trevor Noah and demonstrates his acting skills.

The short film, which lasts almost 4 minutes, has a touch of comedy, but the main intention is to show the impressive landscape that can be seen from the Swiss train, in addition to the cordiality and kindness of its people.

The story narrates the moment before the recording of the short film, both the former tennis player and the comedian, who appear as themselves. The producer tells them that they must board in 4 minutes to start filming; However, while they debate whether the script is funny or not, they take the wrong train. and they leave without the production team, who anxiously try to reach the transport without success and watch them leave.

On the way, while they interact with the passengers and look at the landscapes in the background, they calm down and convince themselves that they were on the right train and not the wrong one, so much so that in the end they decide to repeat the experience and escape from the production team again. which had caught up with them at the next station.

The champion of 20 Grand Slams and the third winningest tennis player in history retired from the courts in 2022 and since then he has dedicated himself to doing various things, among which we can mention acting.

In fact, last month he also participated in an advertising spot, also in his native Switzerland, alongside actor Mads Mikkelsen, in which he shows what autumn is like in his country.
