Harris and Walz reinforce campaign: they will visit key states in four days

The vice president Kamala Harris and the governor Tim Walz will tour the seven states in dispute, in the next four days, to mobilize voters to exercise their right to vote in the last days of the campaign.

These stops focus on “get people to vote”harnessing the energy of these events to mobilize voters to go to the polls.

As part of that, some of these rallies are part of the GOTV “When We Vote We Win” series of concerts and rallies, featuring artists who are trusted voices to the millions of Americans listening. their music, follow them on social media, or feel inspired by them in some other way.

This week, Participating artists include Maggie Rogers, Maná, Gracie Abrams, Los Tigres del Norte, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf and Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner of The National.

The Harris-Walz campaign believes that by using their voices to expose what is at stake in this election, People will be further encouraged and mobilized to vote.

The rallies serve as GOTV organizing hubs, recruiting volunteer sign-ups in addition to mobilizing voters.

Monday October 28

  • MICHIGAN: Vice President Harris will campaign in Michigan, where she will hold a major rally with Governor Walz. The rally is part of the concert series “When We Vote, We Win” and will feature a performance by Maggie Rogers.
  • WISCONSIN + MICHIGAN: Governor Walz will campaign in Wisconsin and Michigan, with stops in Manitowoc + Waukesha, before joining Vice President Harris for the rally in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Tuesday October 29

  • WASHINGTON DC: Vice President Harris will deliver a major “closing argument” speech to the American people in Washington, DC, on the Ellipse near the White House.
  • GEORGIA: Governor Walz will campaign in Georgia, with stops in Savannah and Columbus.

Wednesday October 30

  • NORTH CAROLINA + PENNSYLVANIA + WISCONSIN: Vice President Harris will campaign in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In Wisconsin, the Madison rally is part of the “When We Vote, We Win” concert series and will feature performances by Gracie Abrams, Mumford & Sons, Remi Wolf and The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner in Madison.
  • NORTH CAROLINA: Governor Walz will campaign in North Carolina, with stops in Charlotte and Asheville.

Thursday October 31

  • NEVADA + ARIZONA: Vice President Harris will campaign in Nevada and Arizona, with rallies in Reno, Las Vegas and Phoenix. The Las Vegas and Phoenix rallies are part of the “When We Vote, We Win” concert series and will feature performances by Maná in Las Vegas and Los Tigres del Norte in Phoenix.
  • PENNSYLVANIA + MICHIGAN: Governor Walz will campaign in Pennsylvania and Michigan, with stops in Harrisburg and Erie, and Detroit.

An important part of Harris’ latest campaign effort will be Tuesday’s important speech. He will deliver it on the Ellipse, near the White House, in a prominent place because it is where former President Donald Trump spoke shortly before the assault on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

In the final days of the race, Harris is expected to emphasize that she still believes she and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, They are the “disadvantaged” in the race and that “nothing can be left on the field”said a Harris aide.

Harris has already presented part of his closing argument, focusing on Trump and his belief that he will undermine democracy and American valuess if he were sent back to the Oval Office, two campaign officials said.
