CNN en Español launches a streaming channel for the US Hispanic market

Atlanta – (October 23, 2024) – CNN en Español launched CNN Xpress, a new television channel in streaming, free, advertising-supported (FAST), which will offer key US Hispanic audiences a new way to interact with CNN en Español’s award-winning content.

CNN Xpress will broadcast a selection of its programming in a shorter format, including the best shows, interviews, talent and digital reports from CNN en Español. Launched today in the US on Amazon Prime Video and Freevee, this FAST channel reinforces CNN en Español’s expanding multi-platform strategy and complements existing ways of consuming its content through CNNEspanol.com, CNN en Español Radio, YouTube and social media platforms.

With a dynamic lineup of fast-paced, informative and entertaining videos, the new channel is designed to appeal to younger audiences who prefer shorter-form content from the most trusted name in news. With stories presented in three to six minute clips, the new concise and easy-to-digest format will keep viewers on track.

In addition to reaching new audiences, CNN Xpress offers more opportunities for brands through new advertising formats and targeting capabilities. CNN Xpress content is managed by CNN en Español journalists and curated for the channel using technology from cloud streaming solutions provider Amagi.
