After Mario Bezares became the winner of the second season of ‘La Casa de los Famosos México 2’, his wife, Brenda, He has faced ‘hate’ on social networks and recently stated that this has caused him depression and anxiety.
Since the culmination of the reality show, Bezares has become the target of ridicule and memes online, where many have nicknamed her ‘Doña Florinda’. This nickname arises from the perception that she interrupts her husband in interviews.a behavior that some compare with the famous character played by Florinda Meza in ‘Chespirito’.
In her Instagram stories, Brenda shared that the criticism not only affects her, but also impacts her family:
“Not only do they hurt me, they hurt my children, my mother. We have to be responsible for what we generate.”
He acknowledged having gone through difficult times, including “post-traumatic shocks,” and admitted that he has sought professional help to deal with emotional stress.
Despite the pain she has felt, Brenda was optimistic and determined to emerge stronger from this experience. “I’m going to come out stronger,” he concluded, highlighting the need to foster a more positive environment on social media.

Brenda became an unconditional support for her husband during the reality show. She was in charge of organizing the well-known ‘gallinazos’ and creating viral trends on TikTok so that the driver was part of the conversation.
At the galas of ‘La Casa de los Famosos México 2’, she defended her husband at all times and assured that he was only showing his personality. The couple has been together for nearly 33 years.
Mario’s children also campaigned for him and one of them musicalized the song ‘Mayo, Mayito, Mayititito’which was created by Briggitte Bozzo during the reality show.
Mario Bezares was the first man to win in any edition of ‘La Casa de los Famosos’. During the four seasons of Telemundo, women have been winners, the last being Maripily Rivera.
The previous Mexican edition was won by Wendy Guevara, the well-known influencer, and in Colombia the award went to Karen Sevillano, content creator.
