Anthony Scaramucci, former White House communications director under Donald Trump, anticipates that the New York tycoon will be defeated at the polls and then will avoid talking more about the issue with the aim of avoiding prison.

During an interview with Dean Obeidallah on his SiriusXM show, the 60-year-old investor, who only lasted 11 days working in the White House, said he was convinced that the Republican presidential candidate will end up being surpassed by Democrat Kamala Harris.

“I think she is going to win because she has the money, the organization and I think there are more good people in the country,” he said.

Regarding the reaction that the 78-year-old Republican could have if the numbers do not favor him, Scaramucci ruled out any manifestation on his part, since later he awaits to know the sentence for 34 crimes against him.

“I think he loses. And if that happensI am of the opposite opinion that will not attempt to foment any violent revolution, nor any insurrectionbecause he has a pending sentence on November 26. “So, three weeks after the election, he must appear before a judge and be sentenced on 34 felony counts,” he said.

The financier considered one of Trump’s great detractors is in favor of the fact that, if the former president calmly accepts the situation he finds himself in and behaves accordingly, he may even be able to avoid being arrested for the crimes against him.

“If he says, ‘I’m never going to accept defeat, but I’m not suggesting violence,’ and he slips away, they won’t put him in jail, because I don’t think they want to put a former president in jail, no matter how bad he is.

Although If he’s out there blowing dog whistles and says: ‘I want you to shoot your neighbors who didn’t vote for me,’ and there is violence in the streets of the United States, he will go straight to jail. I have no doubt about it,” he stressed.

Through a message shared on the X platform, Steven Cheung, spokesperson for the Trump campaign, dismissed Scaramucci’s statements.

“No one is going to listen to someone who barely lasted longer than an expired ham sandwich as White House communications director,” he said.
