Karol G went to the Arenys de Mar school, in Medellín, Colombia, for a reopening, since Through her foundation “Con Cora” remodeling work was carried outwith a cost close to a million dollars.

In December 2022, the rains damaged the school’s infrastructureand it was then when the reggaeton singer decided to improve the spaces, to benefit more than 600 students. Now there are colorful murals, a larger sports field and even a technology room.

“I wore the same uniform that the girls have today,” said Karol during the reopening. “It is an honor to be able to give something back to Medellín, to the community that has always supported me.” On the commemorative plaque the phrase stands out: “Miracles happen here.”
In her speech to the children, the Colombian stressed that something very important is maintaining personal goals: “I want them to be happy and never stop studying. Believe in yourself and your dreams. “Quality education is essential for young people to achieve their dreams.”
The school director thanked Karol for the remodeling: “We have not only received material support, but also a powerful message of love, solidarity, faith, and hope.” At the end of a small show by the singer, all the children shouted: “Thank you Fundación Con Cora.”
