Julián Quiñones clarifies his choice of Mexico over Colombia

Julián Quiñones was born in Colombia on March 24, 1997. The Al Qadisiya attacker comes from Magüí Payán, but he made the decision to represent the Mexican team. Quiñones revealed the reasons why he preferred to uniform with El Tri.

In 2015, Julián Quiñones started in the training categories of the Tigres de la UANL. The 27-year-old forward played for Venados FC, Lobos BUAP, the first team of the Tigres de la UANL, Atlas and the Águilas del América.

How has Quiñones fared in El Tri?

On November 18, 2023, Julián Quiñones made his official debut with the Mexican national team shirt. That match corresponded to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League in a 2-0 defeat against Guatemala. Quiñones played 17 minutes.
