Hitman disguised as a delivery man entered a school in Peru and killed a teacher in front of his students

The district of Ate, located in the city of Lima, Peru, and one of the 13 districts declared in emergency since last September 26, was the scene of a terrible crime.

Everything happened inside a school and at a time when dozens of students were on campus. The victim was a teacher who taught Communication and was identified as Julio Cesar Pacheco.

According to local media such as the newspaper El Comercio, the murderer was able to enter the Julio C. Tello school disguised as a delivery man, so he was carrying a box that he was supposed to deliver, as revealed by images from the place’s security cameras.

Once inside the campus He approached the teacher, asked about him, mentioning his name and, after recognizing him, he shot him. in front of several of his students.

For his part, a resident of the area revealed to the RPP news site that, prior to the crime, he saw the attacker riding several times on a motorcycle.

Furthermore, he indicated that the event caused alarm among the students, since The murder occurred during school hours..

“He went straight in to look for the teacher, the children ran out of desperation, because a bullet could have hit them,” he said.

Classes are suspended

After this unfortunate event, the Ministry of Education issued a statement to inform that school activities will be suspended for three days and students will receive classes remotely.

In addition, expressed his strong condemnation of this crime and assured that the Government does not tolerate “acts of terror” in educational spaces.

“We express our condolences and sympathize with the family of Professor Julio César Pacheco, who today face an irreparable loss,” the message added.

Finally, he assured that “all security and support protocols for students, teachers and administrative staff” have been activated.

Shortly after the crime, the Minister of Education, Morgan Quero, went to the school, where he was received by a group of mothers who complained about the lack of security.

“We don’t want your greeting, we want security.”the parents told the minister, from whom they demanded “actions” and not “words.”
