How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball players a second chance. You can play with your Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, with a maximum cash prize of $10 million.
To participate, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket for an additional $1 per play.
Additionally, Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature can be eligible to win prizes in both drawings.
How do you get your prize?
Just like Powerball, prizes will be claimed in the state where you purchased the winning ticket. Players in general can claim a prize of up to $600 dollars at any establishment authorized to sell lottery in the geographic location where they obtained the ticket.
Prizes over $600 can be claimed at lottery headquarters in each case. However, there are also some authorized establishments, whose address should be duly consulted as appropriate.
To collect your prize, you will have between 90 days and one year, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually on the return of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
When is the Powerball Double Play played?
Double Play draws are held three days a week, specifically, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, immediately after the Powerball drawing.
