The current forward of Real Madrid of Spain, Kylian Mbappé, has once again been the protagonist of a new controversy which revolves around his night out last Thursday in Stockholm, while the French team faced the Israeli national team. This action has called into question the French forward’s commitment to his national team. Technical director Didir Deschamps came out to speak in defense of the player to calm the waters on the Telefoot program on TF1.
In France they are not happy about the issue
Deschamps has made it clear that, if his club “gives them days off, they have absolute freedom to do what they want.”“. The aforementioned media outlet asked the coach about the French forward’s night out: “A night out for Mbappé? “Kylian is following a program with his club, Real Madrid, so I don’t know if he came out, if he was there or not.”
“What I can say is that Kylian sent me a message before the game (against Israel). Then, like any player in his club, he follows a program. With days off or without them… If the players have days off, they are free to do what they want,” were Deschamps’ words.
The French press has taken a position and not in the best way with the departure of Kylian Mbappé and that it coincided with France’s match against Israel, which took place on Hungarian soil. Deschamps, for his part, downplayed the issue in a recent interview. The French National Team obtained a resounding victory with a score of 1 goal to 4 against Israel. The duel was experienced with a lot of action in the final stretch of it.
Kylian Mbappé’s health status
It must be remembered that the French forward, Mbappé, suffered a muscle injury last Septemberbut he saw action again on the playing fields in the Champions League on October 2, in the midst of Real Madrid’s defeat against Lille of France. Subsequently, he started the following LaLiga match against Villarreal.
