The director Alfonso Cuaron went to his account x (before Twitter) to remind the lighting engineer Victor Murowho died on October 7 in Veracruz.

The message that the filmmaker wrote was: “I receive with sadness and dismay the news of the horrendous murder of Victor Muro Velazquez. I offer my deep condolences to his family.”

Muro was an expert in lighting and camera equipment, and worked with Alfonso on the film “Roma.” Other of his film credits are the films “The Crime of Father Amaro” and “Cuilli & Macuilli”.

The Veracruz Attorney General’s Office reported that Víctor was working in Xalapa along with three people; The version is that a fight arose, after which he was murdered and mutilated. His remains were found in two places in that city, but I still don’t know reveals the motive of the crime.

This weekend it was announced that The photographer Carlos Armando “N”, who was a partner of Víctor Muro Velázquez, was arrested and given two years of preventive detention. So far he is the main suspect for the murder of the lighting engineer.
