In the Chivas de Guadalajara A long list of names is circulating to take over the reins of the bench. With the forced departure of Fernando Gago, the “Sacred Flock” must now find a coach to command a new process. Miguel Herrera, surprisingly, has raised his hand.

In a conversation with Ricardo Peláez, “Piojo” acknowledged that he does not feel limited by his past. Miguel Herrera is capable of taking any offer, as long as the project convinces him and an agreement is reached.

“Whoever comes looking for me and between his proposal and my idea we combine it and come to an idea, I go wherever”Herrera said.

In this sense, Miguel Herrera has already begun to wink at the Chivas de Guadalajara squad. The Mexican coach considers that the Sacred Flock has good players.

“It is a very important team. It seems to me that they have very good players. Today I think he was playing well again, with Gago there are games he plays very well and others he doesn’t play very well,” he added.

However, Miguel Herrera, from the outside, detected a problem within the organization. “El Piojo” believes that the club should improve your scouting system. The Mexican coach assured that within Chivas de Guadalajara the best youth players in Liga MX must be trained.

“I always said. In Chivas, what it seems to me is that there is a lack of ‘visualization’ initiative. I have always said that of ten good young Mexican players who leave, five have to leave Chivas,” Herrera said.

His arrival at Chivas is complicated

Despite all of Miguel Herrera’s considerations about the Sacred Flock, The coach himself is aware that his past at Club América is a factor that weighs on him when choosing a candidate. “El Piojo” considers that his Americanist past is taking its toll on him within Chivas de Guadalajara.

“I think it’s going to be difficult. I don’t know why they did look for you and they can suddenly say about me This one has an Americanist lineage; because I directed in America, because I am among those who won the most titles in America. But I have always said, for me it is a job,” he concluded.
