Once again and in less than three years, Kamala Harris’ photograph became the cover of Vogue magazine.

In 2021, the publication specialized in fashion topics had already dedicated its cover to him to the 59-year-old Democrat, citing her as the first African-American woman to serve as vice president.

Because only 25 days could separate her from making history again—this if citizens support her on the ballot— The editors of Vogue wanted to anticipate and present her by calling her to their readers as the “candidate of our times.”

From the comfort of her home, Kamala Harris, in addition to agreeing to be interviewed—which has not been easy for other media outlets to achieve—also participated in a photo session with the famous lens artist, Annie Leibovitz.

The result of the photographic work is projected through an elegant image of the democrat wearing a suit made by the Uruguayan designer Gabriela Hearst and some earrings from the Tiffany house.

The publication founded in 1892 focused on presenting a profile of the Californian who intends to defeat Donald Trump.

The acting vice president shares what her experience has been like after two and a half months of campaigning, but above all, having received the baton from Joe Biden with the responsibility of continuing the project that they started together in 2021.

Harris is committed to improving the economy of citizens, to building millions of affordable homes and, among many other topics, to push in Congress for federal legislation that legalizes abortion.

According to a report presented by the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (CRFB) fulfill the campaign promises made by the Democratic presidential candidate such as expanding tax cuts for people who earn less than $400,000 a yearwould add $3 trillion to the national debt.

Expanding the Child Tax Credit and the Earned Income Tax Credit would cost at least another $1.4 trillion.

And as for ending income taxes related to tips, it would represent $200 billion more debt.
