What time will Hurricane Milton make landfall in Florida?

Hurricane Milton continues its advance through the Gulf of Mexico and has reached category 4. It is anticipated that it will have a large effect on much of the west and central coast of the Florida Peninsula.

With Milton’s trajectory already establishedFlorida Governor Ron DeSantis has urged residents to evacuate areas such as Pinellas County, which includes St. Petersburg.

According to a recent ABC News weather report, The phenomenon is expected to impact the coast at approximately 8 pm Pacific time on Wednesdaybetween St. Petersburg and Sarasota.

Storm surges are expected to reach heights of 10 to 15 feet.

However, the first repercussions of the hurricane’s outer bands will begin to be felt from Wednesday morning.

During a press conference this morning, DeSantis urged citizens in the path of the hurricane to put their evacuation plans in motion and head to designated shelters.
