Federico Valverde came out about Luis Suárez’s statements against Marcelo Bielsa and affirmed that they are true. The Uruguayan soccer player supported his former teammate and explained that they will look for a solution.

During the past week, Luis Suárez explained that there were footballers who asked the Argentine “to at least say good morning to them” and pointed out that it should not be surprising if more players give up playing for Uruguay. On the other hand, Valverde said that the way to solve problems is by talking, something that has been done on several occasions since the Argentine led the Uruguay team.

Uruguay prepares with the return of Valverde and Darwin Núñez
Midfielder Federico Valverde and attacker Darwin Núñez joined this Monday to the training sessions of the Uruguayan team, which is preparing to play against Peru and Ecuador in the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
