Donald Trump lashed out at Liz Cheney after the Wisconsin Republican decided to turn her back on him by publicly announcing his support for the presidential candidacy of Democrat Kamala Harris.

Through a message published on the Truth Social platform, the New York tycoon He reminded the former congresswoman of her alleged poor campaign that she organized with the aim of retaining her position in Congress.

“Liz Cheney lost her congressional seat by the largest margin in congressional history for a sitting representative. “The people of Wyoming are really smart!” he wrote.

Immediately afterwards, he also reproached him for his alleged “low IQ” for acting against what he proclaims as policy.

“She’s a low IQ war hawk that, as a member of the J6 Unelected Committee of Political Thugs and Pirates, ILLEGALLY DESTROYED AND ELIMINATED all documents, information and evidence,” he emphasized.

This comment is due to the fact that she was part of the House of Representatives panel designated to investigate the irruption of a group of citizens into the Capitol, on January 6, 2021, an image that went around the world in a matter of minutes.

Trump even claimed that the Cheney family is not welcome in the Republican Party.

The disqualifications towards Liz Cheney arise as a result of He appeared at a rally for acting Vice President Kamala Harris and from Ripon, Wisconsin, called on Republicans to make the same decision as her.

“I ask you to stand firm, to reject the depraved cruelty of Donald Trump and I ask you instead to help us elect Kamala Harris as president,” he said.

So far, Democrats have tried to capitalize on the resentment of some conservatives toward the 78-year-old New Yorker and literally embraced them in order to send a signal to the rest of the Republicans.

Under this approach Adam Kinzinger, who once represented Illinois in the House of Representatives, and Geoff Duncan, lieutenant governor of Georgia, also support Kamala Harris with the aim of preventing Trump from returning to the White House.
