In the last days the brothers Lyle and Erik Menendez have been on everyone’s lips after the launch of ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menéndez Story’, a Netflix series that addresses the case of the brutal crime of which they are accused and that they executed in 1989 inside an imposing mansion of Beverly Hills.
Although more than 30 years have passed since that event, the TMZ portal took advantage of the boom that the series has had to reveal details of what the famous property looks like today.
The house looks very different from how it did back then, one of the most significant changes being the one that occurred in the living room area, although currently other spaces are also undergoing a resounding transformation, leaving it unknown how they will look, including the room where those accused would have murdered their parents.
“The luxurious Beverly Hills mansion is being renovated by its new owners… and a construction worker’s recent TikTok takes viewers inside the room where José and Kitty Menendez They were murdered,” shared the TMZ portal.
The house is completely empty at the moment and in the process of reconstruction, so we will have to wait a while to see the construction work completed.
“The rest of the tour of the empty house is just as disturbing, and the outside is no better – it’s clear the place is undergoing renovations and doesn’t look welcoming at all right now,” TMZ commented.
It is still early to know what the residence will look like, but it would not be surprising if the new owners want to give it a completely new face and distance those who live there from any possible memory of what happened there.
