The war that the faction of Los Chapitos against the group known as La Mayizaunder the orders of Ismael Zambada Sicairosalias “Mayito Flaco”, seems to have no end.

The most recent act of violence was the discovery of five bodies that were tied up and showed signs of torturewhich were abandoned near the Jardines del Humaya pantheon, in the capital of Sinaloa.

According to local media such as the Debate Sinaloa site, the bodies were semi-naked and had bullet wounds, in addition to various hats being left on them.

This detail is important, since the white hat is a symbol of the people who belong to La Mayiza, since we must remember that Ismael “El Mayo” Zambada It is also known as “The Lord of the Hat”because he was almost always seen with that accessory.

Since the internal war began in the Sinaloa Cartelseveral finds of bodies with hats of this type have been recorded, suggesting that the victims are people from “Mayito Flaco”.

Just a few meters from the recent discovery, another 8 bodies were found inside a van on September 27, some of which were already in a state of decomposition.

As revealed by Debate Sinaloa, on the sides of the vehicle you could read the legend, “Welcome to Culiacán”which would mean that the victims were rivals of Los Chapitos, who maintain control of the city.

It must be remembered that the battle in the streets of Sinaloa is due to the alleged betrayal that “El Mayo” Zambada suffered at the hands of one of Los Chapitos, Joaquín Guzmán Lópezwho would have been responsible for transferring him to US territory where he was arrested.

Given this, Zambada Sicairos apparently decided to take revenge and his people broke into the territory of Los Chapitos, unleashing a wave of violence that so far has not been able to be contained.
