After it became known that Dennis Yadiel Sánchez Martínnephew of Ricky Martinsued him again for alleged sexual abuse, the driver Rebecca Albawho was the singer’s partner for several years, spoke out about it.

Interviewed for the program “First-hand”De Alba commented that for her Sánchez’s interests entail something bad: “Let everyone resolve their life. I think there is no need to criticize at a public level. I always see that the people who come making those types of accusations are the bad person.

“Someone always comes with the bad intention of bothering you or wanting to discredit you, and the issues can range from more or less to serious”said Rebecca, who had an affair with Ricky for more than seven years. The two still get along well, but they don’t see each other often.
The judge in charge of the case, Arnaldo Castro Callejo, gave the deadline to present the evidence as June 1, 2025.but the host thinks it will be another defeat for Dennis Yadiel. “I see him as a person who approaches to harm, and in the end those people, as in the first attempt they couldn’t, in the second attempt ‘let’s see what happens’, and well they won’t be able to either. The truth always comes out.”
What is the origin of the conflict between Ricky Martin and his nephew?
In 2022 Dennis Yadiel Sanchez filed a lawsuit in Puerto Rico against Ricky Martin for alleged sexual abuse, but the singer was acquitted due to lack of evidence. In September of that year, Ricky sued Dennis for extortion, malicious prosecution, abuse of rights and damages, asking for $20 million dollars in the document.
A few days ago, the interpreter’s nephew filed a second lawsuit, in which he argues that Ricky Martin allegedly abused him in 2012. Yadiel Sánchez states in the document: “He sent me to a toy store with his driver, and after that, we saw each other at the theater.” Marquiswhere his driver left me alone in the dressing room with him. And it was there where my uncle sexually abused me.”
