Almost a month has passed since Cardi B announced the birth of her third baby. A month earlier, in August, the rapper had just announced that she was pregnant, news that she learned when her condition was very advanced.
In a Live on his Instagram account, The “WAP” singer revealed how she found out she was pregnant: after surgery.
In January, The rapper underwent surgery to eliminate fibrosis from her body. Although blood tests were performed after the intervention, these were negative, so he was able to continue with the procedure.
Days after surgery, Cardi B woke up with a sign that made it clear that she was pregnant: her mouth tasted like coppersomething that happened to her in her two previous pregnancies.
“I woke up one morning and my mouth tasted like copper, so I immediately knew I was pregnant,” the rapper said.
Complications during pregnancy
During her pregnancy Cardi B suffered some complications. The singer said that she almost suffered a miscarriage after suffering a fall on the stairs.
“I was going down the stairs and I slipped a little. I practically fell but I was trying to hold on to the railing. My foot slipped anyway and I kind of broke my butt,” he revealed on his X account.
The fall was so serious that she almost suffered a miscarriage, revealed the “WAP” performer. “It was a very rare accident, which became so severe to the point that I felt paralyzed,” said the rapper. “I noticed that I couldn’t walk and that I felt pain in my lower abdomen,” he added.
The rapper said that After the fall, she did not pay much attention to the pain she felt in her lower back because, due to her pregnancy, it bothered her until she could no longer move.. “When I woke up I couldn’t move my lower body. I mean, just moving my foot made my stomach hurt. I couldn’t move. “I felt paralyzed,” she explained.
When she was examined at the hospital, doctors detected that she had suffered a tear in a ligament in her pelvis. “It’s right where my baby’s head was. “I started dilating and was having contractions every two minutes for a whole day,” Cardi said.
The singer said that she spent days under observation and on painkillers to relieve her pain. “I was in a lot of pain and couldn’t move for two whole days,” he said.
The second week of September, Cardi B announced that she had given birth to her third baby, the result of her relationship with Offsetwhom she asked for a divorce when she announced her pregnancy.
“The most beautiful thing 9/7/24,” the rapper wrote to accompany a carousel of photos with her baby.
