“We have faced this type of threat before and we will do so now too,” Hagari said in a previous message, urging the Israelis to act “responsibly as they have done throughout the war” and recalling that air defense systems They are prepared.

This would be Iran’s first attack against Israel since April 13, when it sent more than 200 drones and missiles against Israeli territory, most intercepted outside its borders with the help of the United States, France and Jordan, among other allies. who had already been alerted.

An attack with ballistic missiles would make it difficult for them to be intercepted by Israeli anti-aircraft defenses, since the projectiles follow a ballistic trajectory after reaching great heights, sometimes even the outermost layers of the atmosphere.
