The world of sports in the United States received new bad news this Monday with the death of Pete Rose, the historical leader in hits in the Major Leagues, at the age of 83 according to the authorities of Clark County in Las Vegas, according to TMZ reported.
“The family requests privacy at this time”commented the former big league’s agent, Ryan Fiterman, according to the publication in which the reasons for the death of the baseball legend who marked an era with the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies were not revealed.
This same Monday, the death of another North American sports legend, former NBA Dikembe Mutombo, was announced, who during his successful career on the court became one of Michael Jordan’s great rivals.
