During an event to promote his political campaign for the upcoming elections, Mark Robinson, lieutenant governor of North Carolina, suffered several burns on his body. and ended up hospitalized.
According to a police source cited by the television network CNN, The injuries to the 58-year-old Republican seeking to become governor were the result of an accident at a car show.
Mike Lonergan, communications director for Robinson’s gubernatorial campaign, issued a brief statement on the African-American politician’s health.
“He is in good spirits, appreciates the expressions of good wishes and is excited to return to the campaign,” the letter states.

It all arose from a report by cnn which details how the conservative used the name “Mark Robinson” to enable a profile on the aforementioned page.
However, the most controversial thing is that he referred to himself as a “black Nazi” and expressed support for restoring slavery.
Due to the scandal that the revelation produced, several members of his campaign staff immediately resigned.
As a result, several prominent Republicans withdrew their financial support and even Donald Trump.who previously endorsed him, didn’t even mention his name during a tour a few days ago in North Carolina.
As a direct consequence, Mark Robinson’s popularity in the polls collapsed and currently Democrat Josh Stein is more than 15% ahead of him.
