David and Victoria Beckham may have all the luxuries and comforts in their London mansion, in England, but very soon the peace they breathe could be severely affected by the works that their neighbors will carry out, which could take several months to complete.
According to the Page Six portal, which was the medium that broke the news, the Beckhams’ neighboring house, which extends over five floors, will undergo a more than drastic transformation.
The property, located in Holland Park, will have, once the works are completed, new bedrooms, new kitchens, solar panels on the roof and underfloor heating.
“The new owner plans to renovate all five floors of the expensive mansion, which features six bedrooms and an underground pool,” Page Six reported.
Despite already having the approval of the local council, the remodeling work could be suspended if the Beckhams do not approve any type of work, so they will have the last word.
“The council wanted the Beckhams to approve the improvement and stated in documents that it would not give planning permission without them on board,” Page Six reported.
Given this, the new owners must present to the Beckhams, and to whoever considers it pertinent, their remodeling plans with plans included to give an image of what was captured in words.
“I recommend that you write to your neighbors to explain what you plan to do and offer them the opportunity to discuss it with you. You must include a copy of the plans,” the authorities suggested to the new owners of the property.
