More Secret Service failures revealed in Donald Trump assassination attempt

During the first public hearing of a bipartisan House task force investigating the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, testimony from local police officers exposed failures by the Secret Service in anticipating and preventing the incident.

As collateral damage, another person was also injured, but what was most regrettable was that another civilian lost his life due to a gunshot.

Given the seriousness of the events, the Secret Service initially blamed local security forces for the catastrophe in Butler, but as the investigation has continued, the federal agency has finally acknowledged its failure to plan and coordinate its agents.
