Barcelona Football Club has become an infirmary from start to finish, and the latest man to join the long list of players who make a living there is the German and captain, Marc Andre Ter Stegen has a serious knee injury that will keep him out for 7 or 8 months from the pitch. Coach Hansi Flick is aware that he must fill the gap left by his goalkeeper as soon as possible, especially tomorrow when the Catalan club faces Getafe in a new round of the Spanish league championship.
Iñaki Peña has Flick’s blessing
Flick trusts the second goalkeeper of the first team, Iñaki Peña, and has his blessing, so the lanky goalkeeper has the full support of the German coach and he made this known in a recent press conference prior to tomorrow night’s match: “Iñaki is doing very well, he is very professional and has trained very hard.
