Jen O’Malley Dillondirector of the campaign Kamala HarrisDemocratic presidential candidate, issued a statement saying that The vice president is ready to face Republican rival Donald Trump on October 23.

The 59-year-old Californian said she was ready to exchange points of view with Trump again, this time in front of CNN cameras and using the same format established previously, as she believes it is appropriate for American citizens to clear up any doubts they may have about which of the two campaign proposals is the best.

Part of the statement indicates that Harris is ready for another chance to share the stage with Trump and has accepted CNN’s invitation and also that Donald Trump should have no problem accepting this debate, however, the former president of the nation threw the proposal out the window during a campaign event held in Wilmington, North Carolina.

The 78-year-old Republican reproached his political adversary for having snubbed an invitation he had extended weeks ago to debate on the Fox network.
