Social Security Checks: Which retirees will receive their payments on September 25?

For this Wednesday, September 25th Retirees after May 1997 born between the 21st and 31st of any month will receive their payment from the Social Security Administration (SSA).

The amount of Social Security checks varies depending on the age at which seniors applied for their retirement. For those who retired at age 62, the payment is $2,710. On the other hand, Those who retired at the full age of 67 receive $3,822 dollars per month and those who delayed their retirement until age 70 receive $4,873 dollars each month.

Due to the differences in amounts, specialists recommend that senior citizens do not retire early in order to avoid losing 30% of their payments.

Upcoming Social Security Payments

This week’s payment will be the last for the month of September. The next checks will be in October and the shipping dates are as follows according to the Social Security schedule:

• Tuesday, October 1: Payment to Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries.
• Thursday, October 3: Payment to retirees before May 1997.
• Wednesday, October 9: payment to retirees born between the 1st and 10th of any month.
• Wednesday, October 16: payment to retirees born between the 11th and 20th of any month.
• Wednesday, October 23: payment to retirees born between the 21st and 31st of any month.
