The artist known for hits like “Truth Hurts” and “Juice” took to social media to deny that Ozempic is the key to her change. Lizzo took to Instagram to criticize an online user who accused her of using Ozempic to lose weight.

After a fan commented, “if she used ozempic or snorted cocaine,” on the singer’s Instagram post on Thursday, the 36-year-old Grammy winner responded with a question of her own:

“Whyy …

Lizzo also highlighted the user’s comment on Saturday with another Instagram post that included a screenshot of the social media user’s profile:
“’OZeMpIc or cokE?’” – a fan 😭😭😭😭”, she wrote in the caption.

On the carousel, the “Good as Hell” singer mocked the accusation against Ozempic with a racy video, in which she wore a red silk robe and styled her braids in a low ponytail.

“When you finally get accusations against Ozempic after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit,” the Grammy winner wrote on the second slide.

Lizzo even joked that the accusations were “like a reward” after spending months in the gym.

Shortly after criticizing the user online, many of Lizzo’s followers took to the comments to applaud her for standing up for herself.

“I love calling people out and not blocking their names or anything, it’s about time,” one fan wrote, while another joked: “And even if it WAS Ozempic, THAT’S FINE!!!!”

A third fan also applauded Lizzo for publicly shaming the user, writing, “I love the public call out! She just played around and found out!”

The pop star has been documenting her weight loss journey over the past few months with a series of posts showing off her trim figure.
