Although Kamala Harris accepted an invitation to debate through the television network’s signal CNNDonald Trump ruled out doing so, because he maintains that it is already too late to do so.

Through a press release issued by the campaign of the acting vice president, it was announced that she was willing to accept an invitation from CNN to hold a second debate.

“The American people deserve another chance to watch Vice President Kamala Harris and Donald Trump debate before they voteIt would be unprecedented in modern history if there were only one debate in a general election.

Vice President Harris is ready for another chance to share the stage with Donald Trump, and has accepted CNN’s invitation to a debate on October 23. Donald Trump should have no problem accepting this debate“wrote Jen O’Malley Dillon, campaign manager for Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris

However, The former president of the nation threw the proposal out the window during a campaign event in Wilmington, North Carolina.

“She has already participated in one debate, I in two. It’s too late to participate in another one. I would love to do it, in many ways, but it’s too late. The vote has already been cast,” he said.

The 78-year-old Republican even reproached his political adversary for having snubbed an invitation he had extended to her weeks earlier.

“He had the opportunity to do it with Fox. You know, Fox invited us, and I waited and waited, and they rejected it. They rejected it, but now wants to hold a debate just before the elections with CNN because he is losing by a lot“, he emphasized.

Apparently, Donald Trump’s refusal also hides his displeasure with the data from a survey carried out by the television network CNN among registered voters who watched the second presidential debate in real time and where Kamala Harris was projected as the winner of the event, with 63% support for her performance; while the New York politician only appeared with 37% support.
