During his time at “La Casa de los Famosos México,” Sian Chiong made some controversial statements about Wendy Guevara, winner of the first edition of the reality show. The 30-year-old Cuban actor compared Wendy to Ricardo Peralta, pointing out that the influencer had no training and that it was good to talk to Peralta because “she is cultured, knows several languages and has traveled.”
These words were considered by many as an indirect criticism towards Wendy Guevara. Although Sian apologized to Wendy after leaving the show, she assured that the actor only did it “out of obligation” and warned that she would face him at the gala on Friday, September 20.
Wendy reveals that production forbade her from confronting Sian
Despite her desire to confront the actor, Wendy Guevara said that the show’s production asked her not to do so, as they did not want the issue to become “bigger.” For the organizers, Wendy is the “joy” of the show and they do not want that image to be “tarnished” by this controversy.
“I do want to fight, but they don’t let me. And it’s okay because, look, they talked to me and they said, ‘It’s not possible that there are just notes of you fighting. Look, no, you are joy, peace, love,’ and I was like, ‘Okay, that’s fine. ’”
Wendy Guevara’s statements did not go unnoticed on social media. While some agreed that she should not “fight anymore”, the vast majority regretted that she could not tell Sian “her truths”.
“I don’t know why they don’t let her be herself, like we knew her when she started,” “The production protects Sian,” “Better this way,” “It’s good that they take care of her image,” “Let her tell her truths to Juan Chiong,” “It would make us very happy if you put him in his place,” said some comments.
It is worth noting that Sian Chiong was one of the most controversial participants in ‘La casa de los famosos México’. Throughout his participation, he caused the annoyance of the show’s fans due to certain attitudes and behaviors he had.
