Donald Trump admits he regrets being classy during the presidential debate and says he should have reprimanded moderators who harshly questioned his comments.

During his appearance on the television program “Gutfeld!”, which is broadcast on Fox News ChannelThe Republican presidential candidate regretted not having responded forcefully, as he usually does, to David Muir and Linsey Davis, presenters of ABC News, who corroborated in real time each piece of information mentioned by him during his exchange of opinions with Democrat Kamala Harris.

“I think my only regret is that I wanted to be classy and didn’t want to go after the presenters. I wish I had.in a way. The presenter treated me very unfairly.”I’m not a fan of those guys anymore,” he said.

The 78-year-old conservative also argued that while he was repeatedly questioned, not a single comment emerged that put pressure on Kamala Harris. in the moments where he did not answer what was asked of him and instead spoke about other topics.

“They didn’t correct her even once, and they corrected almost everything I said.”he stressed.

In fact, having pointed out to more than 51 million viewers that some of the data handled by Trump was unfoundedsuch as the fact of wrongly attacking Haitian immigrants concentrated in Springfield, Ohio, under the unfounded accusation that they were stealing American pets to feed them, projected a bad image of the Republican, at least that is what the data from a survey conducted by the television network showed. CNN, where Kamala Harris was declared the winner of the debate, with 67% support compared to 37% for her opponent.

The good news for the former president is that his popularity has risen again after the Secret Service arrested Ryan Wesley Routh, an individual who allegedly tried to point an AK47 rifle at him while he was enjoying a round of golf in Florida.

In fact, some polls showed that in some states the race between the New York Republican and the California Democrat has become more balanced again with less than 50 days left until the elections.
